Benny
5 Month Male Retriever, Labrador/Mix

This adorable 5-month-old puppy came to the shelter as a stray at the end of August. Because of his young age, Benny went into foster care, where he’s filled out, grown, and started learning how to be a dog! Now, he’s ready to find his forever home.
Like any puppy, Benny still has plenty to learn and will need continued training. His new family should be prepared for all the work, love, patience, and laughter that come with raising a puppy. Please think carefully about that commitment before applying for this sweet boy.
Benny would do great with a canine companion who can help show him the ropes of being a dog and help burn off some of that puppy energy. He hasn’t lived with cats, but given his personality and fear of tiny dogs, he should be okay with them. Young kids should be prepared to occasionally become chew toys until Benny learns that biting is only fun for one!
Dahlia
1 Year Old Female Terrier, Pit Bull/Mix

This sweet 1-year-old girl has had a very hard first year of life. When she arrived at the shelter, she was skin and bones. Her body was giving everything it had to her unborn puppies. When you think about a dog being let down by humans, this sweet angel is at the top of the list.
And yet, despite everything she has been through, Dahlia still craves human contact. Now, it’s HER turn for a chance at happiness!
Dahlia is incredibly sweet, submissive, and gentle. She gives the sweetest kisses and loves to snuggle.
She keeps a pretty clean kennel and walks very nicely on leash.
Because Dahlia is still nervous and learning that she is finally safe, we don’t recommend small children. You can almost see her wondering, “Okay… what is going to happen next?” But little does she know, her best life is just beginning to unfold.
Tiny
4 Year Old Male Cane Corso/Mastiff

He’s named TINY, but… he’s anything but! From his size to his love!
This handsome 4-year-old boy came to the shelter as a stray. He has been an incredible gentleman since the day he arrived. Tiny is unaware of how big he is—and that constantly wagging tail might accidentally bump into you along the way! He enjoys treats and toys.
Make sure they are BIG dog toys because he’s a BIG BOY.
Tiny had a few dog meets at the shelter and they haven’t gone very well, so we feel he will be best as the only dog in the home.
If you have small children, they should be prepared for plenty of slobber—they’ll be just about eye level with him.
If you’re looking for a lovable, oversized best friend, Tiny is ready to meet you!
Please help this sweet boy get out of the shelter and into the comfort of a home.
